THE MISSION

We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to scale our data ingestion and SERP analysis pipelines. You will own the core infrastructure that powers our GenerativeSEO engine and handle Petabyte-scale data processing.

KEY PROTOCOLS

• Design, build, and maintain distributed backend systems for large-scale data processing.
• Optimize and scale existing Node.js/TypeScript backend services.
• Work with PostgreSQL, Redis, and large datasets for query performance and cost optimization.
• Implement monitoring, alerting, and automated recovery systems for mission-critical services.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive best practices in backend development and system architecture.

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with Node.js and TypeScript.
• Expertise in building scalable, distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Strong understanding of database systems, with deep experience in PostgreSQL performance tuning and optimization.
• Proficiency with caching mechanisms (Redis) and message queues for high-throughput data processing.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with complex, large-scale datasets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working in a remote-first team.
